All of my students will start the school year learning remotely. Many of them depend on the school meals and the care they receive from their teachers. During this time of remote learning, many of my students will also be responsible for younger siblings and making sure those children are doing their school work. Middle school is a difficult time for many students during the best situations. I am requesting paint sets so that my students can express themselves while remote learning. Connecting to the community through art is an important way for my students to express themselves during this time of remote learning. Students will use the paint sets to create artwork reflecting a range of styles and techniques around the topics of pandemic art and expressing emotions in art.
