I am requesting double-sided lap boards for individual students along with the dry erase markers. These materials will be placed under their desks for easy access. I picture the students using them each day both during the warm-up activity at the beginning of each day and during individual practice throughout the lesson. Students will be able to practice graphing different functions and solving equation. They will get immediate feedback from the teacher. With the presence of technology, paper and pencil can be very boring for them. The idea of writing and drawing on the board using markers gets these kids excited to do the math. As a teacher, I can easily and quickly identify which students need extra one-on-one enrichment and which students already mastered the concepts.
