Our scholars love to read, but we don't have many options for them. I want to build them a library that captures their imaginations and takes them to places they've never been. I would like to have books that will hold their interests and keep them reading! The books I've selected were chosen from a list scholars gave me. They want to read these books! Scholars at my school do not have books that reflect their culture, their interests, or their dreams. The more books we have that are interesting for our scholars, the more likely they are to keep reading! Helping scholars begin to learn that reading is fun is a perfect way to build better readers.
