My students come almost entirely from low-income families, living in underserved neighborhoods in Chicago. However, the students and their families have made a commitment to attend a school that expects them to stay later, work more, and do more outside of the school day. We demand a lot of them, and every day they come back ready to meet and surpass our expectations. Our students work hard, and they deserve every opportunity possible to learn more from the work that they do.
