Our class represents 8 different countries from around the world! We are a wonderful blend of different abilities and interests. Our school is located in a lower middle class income community. Between the different languages that are spoken and the different background experiences brought in by each student, we are an absolutely unique melting pot of five and six-year-olds. Each student comes in excited and eager to learn! Their positive attitudes and desire to learn is contagious. My goal is to continue to provide students with engaging and rigorous learning opportunities. When each child leaves our Kindergarten Family to head off to First Grade, I hope that they take not only the appropriate learning tools with them but an invaluable love for learning! My students are primarily tactile and visual learners. The requested materials will help stimulate these learners. They resources will promote team work and will provide students with multiple strategies to tackle Common Co
