I teach 1st grade in a low-income area where basic resources are scarce. The majority of my students’ families don't have the income to come to school with the most basic supplies. My students come from Spanish-speaking households and my goal is to enrich their learning experience to succeed in their academic careers. My students have a desire to learn how to read and write. They are inquisitive, caring, and funny individuals! They love to learn new things and are enthusiastic about the world. It is my goal to keep that love of learning alive in them.

About my class
