Being the STEAM teacher this year has been a privilege. It has been an amazing experience watching my students learn through hands-on projects/designs. This year I received training on coding and lego education coding, however my students are lacking materials to code due to our low-income economical state. Coming directly from our mission at Fort Hill, I strongly believe in cultivating a love of learning and discovery through interdisciplinary projects that emphasize Mathematics and the Sciences. Lego Education/Coding does a great job in building on students' curiosity at an early age so they can acquire skills they will need in the future. These WE DO 2.0 kits will give students the opportunity to learn through play in lego education and in fact coding their robots. I believe that every student should be given the opportunity to explore and investigate with computer science and this will be a great experience for my students.
