The new drawer systems have transformed our classroom into a space where students can quickly and independently access sheet music, reeds, valve oil, and other supplies. This saves rehearsal time, teaches responsibility, and creates smoother rehearsals.   • Marvelous Marimba: Elevating Our Percussion!

    We are so excited to share that our band now has a brand new marimba! It took a few hours to put together, but once it was built, the students were amazed. It is absolutely beautiful, and they can't wait to start playing to as we begin the school year.

    This marimba will open up so many opportunities for our percussionists giving them the chance to learn new skills, perform advanced music, and experience he joy of asking music on a professional quality instrument.

    Imagine a group of middle school students, excited to learn music, struggling to keep their sheet music organized. Pages get lost, crumpled, or torn before they even reach rehearsal. That's why we need durable black plastic folders for our band students.

    These folders provide a uniform professional look, giving our young musicians a sense of pride and belonging. They are sturdy enough to withstand daily use, ensuring that students can keep their music safe from wear and tear. Most importantly, they fit easily into backpacks, making it simple for students to take their materials home to practice- an essential part of their growth as musicians.

  • Tenor Saxophone Repair

    Having a working tenor saxophone in a middle school band significantly enhances the overall sound and balance of the ensemble. The tenor saxophone, with it's rich and warm tone occupies a cruicial spot in the middle registar between the higher woodwinds like the flutes and clarinets and the lower brass like the trombones and tubas. This helps create a fuller, more cohesive sound in band arrangements.

    Additionally, a functional tenor saxophone allows students to explore a broader range of musical styles from classical to jazz, expanding their learning experience. Having a full range of instruments in an ensemble boosts student engagement and contributes to the band's sound in a unique way.
