I have been an early childhood teacher for 25 years. I am currently teaching 3K and I love it. My students are learning how to socialize, improve communication skills, make friends and be kind. Our school received a new curriculum this year and we need many new resources for subject matter that we have never taught before. A lot of our resources are teacher made, printed and laminated. These supplies run out quickly and we have a very limited budget to replace them. We are also limited to the DOE purchasing system which often does not have the supplies we need for 3K and Pre-K. We spend a lot of money out of pocket each year on things our students need, but this year with a whole new curriculum, we need some help. Donating to our class helps the students by giving them the tools they need to learn and grow and takes some of the financial burden off of the teacher. We appreciate anything donated.
