These can be used in a variety of ways. We study earth and its resources, how energy is made and used (transfered), elements and compounds and space. The Legos will be used to show elements (single lego) and to build compounds (stacking colors). They will also be used to demonstrate the layers of the earth and space and the devices used to get us there. We also study the conversion of energy like rocket fuel burning. The simple machines will be used during our force and motion unit where we explore simple machines and how forces are measured and balanced. These Legos can also be used in simple demonstrations with almost every unit we have, so they will be used frequently by students who may or may not have ever used them.
