My students will utilize the Chromebooks for extensions of our lessons and activities in class. They will have access to Lexia differentiated phonics interventions, interactive math tools, and animated tutorials for further support. I can also track their growth through online formative assessments and discussion boards. Student goal-setting and progress monitoring will be more accessible and time-efficient with a class set of Chromebooks versus the school's computer lab. Online collaborative tools will expand student's social and communication skills and offer engaging and exciting alternatives to traditional paper-pencil assignments. Students will be able to create original works and express their creativity with slideshows, movies, storyboards, comics, infographics, blogs, etc.
