This is my 8th year of teaching, everyday is still a new challenge and I love it! A little about me and my school: my school is a small school in the poorest urban Congressional District in the country. Needless to say, the students in my school have faced many challenges that go along with being a member of a traditionally underprivileged group. My students strive to succeed even in the face of these overwhelming challenges. My school does not have the financial resources of suburban schools, and due to recent budget cuts resources are even tighter. Even so, I firmly believe that my kids deserve the same education as other children. I am asking you to please donate whatever you can to help me give my students the education they deserve.
