Welcome to the home of the Yellow Jackets! I teach 1st grade at L.W. Westfall Elementary School in Choctaw, Oklahoma. As a Westfall teacher I have the opportunity to teach amazing students who strive for higher possibilities and potential on a daily basis. Our school has achieved Great Expectations Model school for over 20 years running. I strive for excellence in my teaching using the Great Expectations seventeen best practices. My students practice the eight expectations for living and abide by a school and classroom creed. My first graders make teaching fun and enjoyable! I create lessons that are engaging and interactive. I create a learning environment that is conducive to optimum achievement academically, socially, and emotionally.
