Although the materials I have listed seem to be simple, these materials aid in the advancement of creating the materials my students use every day! The students in my classroom are a variety of different learners. Therefore, there needs to be a lot of different materials made in my classroom for each individual child. All of the students in my classroom are on individualized education plan and all follow different learning programs, which means, materials and curriculum need to be created for each student. Most of the materials I buy come from my own pocket! I work two jobs and honestly, a lot of my money goes right back into my own classroom to give these kiddos what they need. I love my job, and I love my students! It is crucial to have these materials on hand and ready in my classroom so that my students can have new and creative hands on activities to learn from every day!
