Students were asked to create an Arcade Game with their families over the Winter Break with the purpose of giving them quality time together that they may not regularly make time for. We watched two videos about Caine's Arcade and I explained to them about the importance of recycling, giving back to those less fortunate, specifically in this case the Pennies for Patients fundraiser to benefit Leukemia research. They seemed really inspired and our entire 6th Grade will be playing our student created Caine's Arcade games later this month. They are truly excited to play each other's games and these tickets will be used to redeem for each game as well as the candy which will serve as prizes.
