This is year 17 as a teacher in rural Alaska. Working with children who have disabilities brings a certain satisfaction that is beyond amazing. Creating a learning environment for my students to be successful is a continual challenge. The results are life-changing for my students. It means the difference between an independent life or maybe not. Every year I donate over $2000 to my students. Budget cuts directly affect our students. Thank you for also helping my students in their quest for independence!
