My students are a diverse population including low socioeconomic status families, English Language learners, students with learning disabilities, and common middle class families. Around 400 7th graders will benefit from this project between my classes and my colleagues classes. My students are very interested in the human body and have wonderful questions with every lesson. For them to experience a mammal dissection would encourage them to learn more about and care for their bodies. Hands on learning is the best way to experience and comprehend information.
