In a bilingual or Dual Language classroom, it has always been difficult to obtain a variety of Spanish reading material. These students, who have a variety of academic levels, need to be exposed to chapter books in Spanish. We already have English chapter books but our Spanish library is very limited. Times are changing and slowly there have been changes in the Spanish reading material that is made available. I would love for my students to have the opportunity to read material in Spanish with their classmates in small groups so that they will able to have in-depth discussions about what they are reading. I would love for them to get lost in a world of books and enjoy every moment of it!
