During the school year my fifth, sixth and seventh grade students will be learning about music history, recording and vocal performance/production. They will engage in research projects, as well as, recording projects that will help bridge their learning of music concepts in a tangible way. During the course of the year, students will engage in research projects on different genres and styles of music. The purchase of iPads will allow my students to write, create and record their own original compositions within the Garageband software that comes included with each iPad. The purchase of iPads will allow my students the ability to have a one to one experience with the extensive and detailed recording software program. It will also allow students to work effective during group projects if each student has an iPad.
