Our 6th grade students are curious and fiercely independent. They are constantly wanting to show what they know (and want to know), and we want to give them every opportunity to do so, and wish to continue to encourage their confidence in their advocacy for their own learning. However, there are limitations in terms of funding and resources, both at home and at school, as we are a Title I K-6, where 80%+ of our population are bused and receive reduced breakfast and lunch.

About my class
