My students, just like all 8 and 9 year old kiddos, love to move around. I want to create a classroom where we have flexible seating options so my students have the ability to move around while participating in academics. Having flexible seating options for students takes their brain power out of thinking about being still, automatically leading their brain to focus more on the learning. When students have the options to move to different spaces in the classroom, negative behaviors decrease, causing more learning to happen. By helping to fund this project, you will be helping my students learn how to express themselves, so they can focus on growing their brains!
