The supplies in this project will help my students learn organizational skills for their notebooks and will help to guide them through successful note taking and retention of material. This will prepare them for their next steps in college as well as into their careers. These materials will help my students to create an engaging lab notebook that can act as a textbook or a useful resource for years to come. In Principles of Biomedical Science (9th grade), my students will be using this notebook to document forensic evidence in a series of mock crime scenes. Teaching them proper legal record keeping. This will prepare them for their future careers as record keeping is vital. In Human Body Systems (10th grade), my students will use this notebook to learn basic human anatomy and physiology and keep them organized and learning in a systems approach.
