First and foremost my students, my children, are learners. They have a passionate curiosity about the world and are eager to learn about it. When a spark is lit, they're unstoppable and insatiable. Their quest for knowledge didn't stop at three or four with the exhausting why's and what's. They have continued into deeper questioning & more stimulating conversations. From the advanced student to the one that struggles daily, they all crave stimulation of the mind. They want the challenge of being more than just "kids", more than just "fourth graders." My job is to foster that desire, direct that creativity, & to help them engineer new ways to express themselves. How fortunate am I that I get to do this?
