Thank you for visiting my donorschoose project. I work with some of the best inner city students you can imagine. I had an 8th grader who placed fourth at the state science fair last year and another with second honors this year. I like to provide as many tactile explorations and project-based, student-centered lessons as I possibly can. I get grants to take my students on a schooner to learn about Long Island Sound, we build solar ovens, dissect squid, have a bridge-building contest, build lung models .... you name it!!! As resourceful as I am, there is always a need for funding. Please consider funding our latest endeavor. When you see the results you will NOT be disappointed in your investment in teaching America's children. Thank you for your consideration.
