Makeup Artistry is one of my student's favorite units! They get excited to learn and can't believe the transformations they create. Kits for every skin tone, from dark, to medium to light and everything in between is essential in an inclusive classroom. I wouldn't dream of doing this unit without providing materials for every student in their own beautiful skin color. This will be a wonderful way to make distance learning special for my theater students. They may not get to perform at school, but they will have their own makeup kits and the skills to do specialty makeup. I love it when the problem becomes the solution.
