Students will be using the novel, "The Gender Games" by Bella Forrest to enhance their reading and writing in English - in my classroom and beyond. Students will read and discuss the riveting new novel, which is incredibly imperative in our ever-changing society. It builds reading skills, communication skills, vocabulary, and much more. Good books can change your life; you're not imagining it, the process of digesting a character or a series of events actually turns you into a different person. Studies show that staying mentally stimulated can slow the progress of (or possibly even prevent) Alzheimer’s and Dementia, since keeping your brain active and engaged prevents it from losing power. It can help someone relieve stress. It can improve memory. It helps students write better. And it provides free entertainment.
