My students are an amazing group of 20 interesting little individuals. They are eager to learn, help others, explore new ideas and utilize any and all technology that they can get their hands on in our classroom. Currently, we have students representing different ethnicities, cultures and socio-economic statuses among our little group of 20. Most of our students are not fortunate enough to have their own technological devices (such as iPods, iPads, laptops) or even WIFI/computers in their homes. The only time that they are able to use these tools is in our classroom. We have 5 older iPads (acquired through a past grant) that we share among the 20 students and also with the other 11 classrooms in our school. The students' faces light up when they use the iPads. They experience a sense of confidence and achievement. There is a look of pride. They are thrilled to share their success stories.
