Next school year, my classroom will be given a cart of ChromeBooks! I am very excited about being able to use more technology in the classroom and help the school save paper. Technology motivates my students and I know they will love to use their new ChromeBooks to view the online textbook, take notes, blog, and interact with their peers! I am asking for these headphones so that students can engage in authentic listening opportunities, virtual field trips, and recording themselves in Spanish. We will use tools such as VoiceThread, Voki, edPuzzle, and much more, to listen to different dialects and become comfortable using our acquired Spanish skills. This will be an efficient time saver in my classroom and will allow me to listen to my students in a low-stress, comfortable way. My students will love the many different types of technology the headphones and microphones will open up to them!
