I am a special education specialist responsible for teaching Kinder through 3rd graders who have a wide range of abilities and disabilities from autism, developmental delay, intellectual disability, specific learning disabilities like dyslexia, ADHD or other health impairments and language impairment, but that does not slow them down from doing their best. They just need to be taught skills and strategies for reading, math, social emotional, and work habits. We are a magnet museum school. Our students come from all over the county to be part of this amazing school. Students go on Learning Exhibitions with our partner museums and other local places and then show off their learning to their families on quarterly exhibit nights. It's a great school for learning.
