In an effort to celebrate students attending colleges, junior colleges, trade schools and those serving our country in the military, we want to create a "Signing Day" so that students' post-secondary options can be recognized. The goals are: encourage and remind students that it's time to make a decision, support best match and fit for each student, influence younger students to begin thinking past high school, and support a college-going culture and wrap up the school year with a celebration. College/military flags will be waving, balloons will be floating by each post-secondary/military table that will be set up in the gym. This assembly will be held in the gym, where the students' decisions will be announced in front of underclassmen and parents. Afterwards, the celebration will continue with a lunch provided for the seniors and their parents.
