Having a set of Chromebooks that the students can use on a daily basis will enhance my student's learning by enabling technology integration on a consistent basis, providing a means for research, helping with collaborative group work, providing a way for global collaboration and presentations, as well as virtual field trips. The students will be also able to use the Chromebooks for digital storytelling which will help improve not only Reading, but also Writing Skills. The students will use technology to enhance their writing of stories and plays. They will access online reading materials that we don't have access to in the classroom as well. My students will use the Chromebooks to work in classroom groups. Since their work will be on google docs and stored in the cloud, multiple students can work on a project at the same. They will also have the ability to connect with students outside of our school. The students will use the Chromebooks for research in Social Studies and to write reports and presentations on the information learned from this research. The students will also be able to experience places it is not possible for us to take them and gain a better understanding of history.
