My students range in age from 3-11 in grades PreK through 5th grade. We are a Title 1 school where more than half of our students receive free lunch. Our school is located in a low socioeconomic area. Many of the students do not have access to technology at home so it is vitally important to provide learning in this area. As the school librarian, I feel it is important to keep all of the students engaged in learning activities that allow them to grow, problem solve and think analytically. In giving the students the opportunity to learn and engage with technology in a way that is educational and fun can only benefit them in the long run.
