Having an alto xylophone will add to the richness of my students' compositions, and will give them opportunity to improvise their own melodies on an instrument that supports young musicians. "Real art is one of the most powerful forces in the rise of mankind, and he who renders it accessible to as many people as possible is a benefactor of humanity," according to Zoltan Kodaly. This xylophone will allow my students to visualize and isolate notes, and make creation, notation and performance a simple matter. Thank you for making the creation of music more accessible to these boys and girls!
