In a world where technology is so important in our every day lives, my students would greatly benefit in the short and long term from having access to Chromebooks in our classroom. This technology will give my students the tools to research and not only expand their own knowledge, but put together projects that they will share with their peers. Additionally, lessons can be differentiated on a more individual level. Students will use apps and programs that cater to their own reading level and phonics needs. Students will also use programs to electronically collaborate with peers. These Chromebooks will allow my students to have an unlimited wealth of knowledge and potential at their fingertips! The majority of my students do not have access to a computer at home and soak up every opportunity possible to utilize technology at school. I am so excited to see the growth and incredible projects and learning to come!
