Help me give my students new quality athletic equipment and supplies to help support their athletic teams. We are currently in need of new volleyballs (both practice and NFHS certified) for the Girl's Volleyball team, new soccer balls (both practice and NFHS certified) for the Boy's Soccer Team, and new footballs (both practice and NFHS certified) for the Football Team. Sports equipment is used daily for practices and multiple times for games over the course of the season. Over time the equipment wears down and we are in desperate need of high-quality athletic equipment and supplies to support our athletic teams. During the fall season, we have approximately 95-100 kids participating in our athletic program. Almost half of our kids are participating in sports for the first time. Being a Title I School, some of our kids don't have the financial means to purchase the necessary equipment such as football, soccer, and volleyball practice gear. We work with such amazing young students and we want to continue to support their dreams! I have been working in athletics and teaching here for 17 years and I have seen so many incredible young students during my time at HMS. I have coached football, girls track and field, softball, wrestling, and baseball over the years and I am continually reminded the importance and benefit of an athletic program for our students. Many of our students are playing sports for the first time and this is their first experience being part of a team. We would love to provide them with the proper equipment and resources to support our students and the program.
