My students are a group of bright individuals who are genuinely interested becoming better writers and readers. They are always inquisitive and eager to share their opinions, always ready to reach out an include others who are different than them, always stepping up to be more brave and kind. Our school is a Title I school. Many of my students are below the poverty line but they continue to astound me with their work ethic and determination on a daily basis. My students believe in a community that rallies around them to help them accomplish good things because they have seen the work that Donors Choose has done for our classroom and they have seen the work that teachers and staff of FCMS do to help them get these resources.
