Imagine you are a student who are just coming out of over a year of COVID Online and are chomping at the bit to learn a musical instrument. You are in a gymnasium where all sounds echo and there's a constant hum of a generator somewhere. The teacher is in the front of the class and is trying his best, but he is soft-spoken and also wearing a face mask. You can't hardly hear a word he's saying and the other kids are making it even harder. It becomes increasingly frustrating and you feel like you're always missing out on something the teacher is saying. This is my life at SEVEN different schools in a given week. My visual aids are useful, but if my class of 20+ beginners can't hear me, it slows us down a lot. Even if everyone keeps their conversations to a hushed whisper, my voice gets drowned out in the large space of each school's multi-purpose room. This portable PA system will directly eliminate one of the greatest barriers my students have to learning how to play their instrument. Everything else in this wishlist is to help keep my instruments and devices safe. I'm always looking for ways to enhance my traveling circus act and this would be an AMAZING tool in helping my students kindle their passion for music!
