Technology has become a staple in education during the pandemic. We are one to one with Chromebooks so every student has a device but we have no place to recharge their batteries. Currently my 14 students do not have a place to plug in their Chromebooks. We have limited plugs in our classroom and an abundance of computer wires. I can currently charge five Chromebooks at a time, leaving 9 uncharged. In addition, the lack of space and plugs is a safety hazard not only to the students but the Chromebooks as well. The charging station would provide students access to charge their Chromebooks daily and we can fully utilize our educational technology.
