I have a class of 25 enthusiastic and diverse students. Many are reading on grade level, several are below. While they come ready to learn they have a hard time sitting all day. We take brain breaks and incorporate movement into our learning as much as possible. I have seen the correlation between movement and learning. The more movement a child is able to get the better they are able to focus. I want my students to succeed. Offering them flexible seating allows their bodies to move while enabling them to have more energy to focus on learning. Please help them to succeed by supporting our request for flexible seating. Several other classes in our school have seen increased focus when using flexible seating. My students have seen this seating and are very excited about having it in our own classroom. They are amazing kids with the capacity to learn so much this year. These tools will them to succeed!
