Many of the students in my room have sensory needs. In order to be actively engaged in learning, their bodies need to be engaged! I often see students unsafely learning back and forth in traditional school chairs. The wobble stools and cushions from this project will provide movement that is vital to their learning while keeping them safe! Having a variety of seating options will empower students to choose how they learn. My students will be able to choose from these seating options whenever we are learning or working. I know that if my students are comfortable and happy while in school, their learning will increase exponentially!
