The books allowed students to read at a level where they were at-not to hard, not to easy, but just right! It allowed students to read books about cute animals and kids going on adventures with friends or other adults!\r\n\r\nIn my classroom students are always encouraged to grab a book when they finish early, during choice time, or as part of their independent work time during reading. During the day, I am fortunate enough to be able to meet with all students and read, work on specific phonics skills, or comprehension skills that they need to work on. We celebrate all reading milestones-big and small. \r\n\r\nEvery student in my class picked up a new book and came back asking for more.
