My charismatic group of five and six year olds come to school every day excited to learn new things. What I love the most about them is that they are determined, so they never give up! Although they come from different economic backgrounds and have different skill sets, they always work to their fullest potential. My students love to socialize and help each other learn. They get so excited when one student has done their best! Many of my students will need extra visual support. In my classroom, 40% of students are English language learners. In addition, some students are classified as special populations. This means that they need specific support in academics or social interactions. Sometimes language or learning delays can become a barrier for learning. Visuals and interactive experiences create a bridge between what they already know and what they want to learn.
