At the end of last year I was given 11 older model iPads to use with my students. Now we are in need of an iPad charging station, 11 iPad cases to protect our iPads, as well as 11 sets of headphones so that my students will be able to use them in my classroom and with their peers in the general education classroom setting without distractions or distracting others. My students will use the iPads independently for communication, working on personal information, small groups, verbal behavior, and a positive reinforcer. The cases will help us protect the tools and use them for many years. The headphones will allow the students to use the iPads effectively in the classroom. The charging station will keep the iPads charged and ready to use daily. This project will benefit my students by opening their eyes to exploring the world through videos, images, communication, and much more.
