Writing is a critical skill that lets students use their voice. My students have struggled to learn to read, and they have made outstanding gains in reading over the past couple of years. When you are struggling to learning to read, you often struggle with writing and you miss out of the basic foundations of writing. Writing is an essential communication skill and as my students move to middle school and high school they must demonstrate knowledge and ideas through writing. My students have ideas and dreams that they need to be able to articulate in various ways. Framing Your Thoughts will help ensure that all of my students, no matter their circumstance or ability, will have the opportunity to understand, embrace, and enjoy the many components of written expression. Writing is an essential skill and the Framing Your Thoughts program will hep students learn foundations of writing and journey to writing paragraphs. I have seen how the power of written expression impacts my students work and confidence, and I know that a structured program will help them reach their goals.
