Our students are currently making due with 10 acoustic guitars (provided by Little Kids Rock) to learn the Modern Band curriculum in classes of 25+ students. While working with partners and groups has been helpful in the early stages of learning guitar, each student really needs their own individual guitar to maximize learning as we move beyond the beginning stages of guitar instruction. Our ultimate goal is to create a rock band ensemble from the most skilled of our students learning the Modern Band curriculum in general music classes. Help our students achieve the skills they need to reach this goal by providing each of them with their own guitar to learn on during their weekly general music classes.

About my class
