Most of the percussion equipment in our band program is as old as the school itself and is falling apart. We have had to rely on loaner instruments from other schools (which are not in much better shape). Our new vibraphone will be a key part of our rhythm section for our top-notch jazz band, and would also contribute greatly to our concert bands. We have been actively fundraising to replace our entire instrument inventory, and this would be a huge step in the right direction! We are hoping to replace our percussion instruments one at a time over the next few years.
