My students are bright and eager learners from different backgrounds. My students come from a small pocket neighborhood where families walk to school. We have students whose parents and grandparents were former students. Some speak English as a second language, and they all come to school eager to learn. A third of the school qualifies for free or reduced cost school breakfast and lunch. It is not a high performing school, nor is it a low performing school. Sadly, this means that my students do not receive a lot of financial assistance to improve their classroom learning environment or experiences. In order for my students to have the essential materials that they need to learn, I depend on parent donations or purchase materials myself. However, they deserve more equipment than I can provide them and they would greatly benefit from your generosity.
