Help us Keep our Computers Charged and Organized!
Funded Aug 28, 2022Thank you all so much for getting our classroom a handy organizing computer cart for all of our Chrome laptop computers.
Before we had this cart, our laptops were completely disorganized and scattered throughout the room wherever we could find power outlets. We couldn't charge all of them at once so we would have to keep rotating them so every student would get a fully charged computer. Often times students would have to share a computer because they wouldn't all be charged.
Now, we always have computers ready to go whenever we need them. The students have been trained on how to put them away and are excited to help be the "tech assistants" in the class.

Building a Maker Lab with a 3D Printer!
Funded Nov 27, 2018Your generous donation has already made such a difference in our classroom! In just a couple of weeks, students have learned the basics of 3D modeling and have started creating their own models for our new printer to print out.
One of my students created a beautiful castle, another made a Golden State Warriors Plaque for his wall. They are fearless makers, creatively tackling the problems that invariably arise when learning about new technology.
The success of the printer in my classroom inspired me to reach out to two other grade levels and teach an after school class to any interested students. The response was overwhelming, and I had a full class of 35 students in just a few days.
I'm so excited to see what else these kids can come up with, and I'm anxious to introduce 3D modelling and printing to a new groups of students in the fall.”
