I would like my students to participate in an interactive lesson regarding both our new classroom terrarium and the learning of Georgia standards. The students will gain historical knowledge on the background of Earth's creation. Simultaneously, they will be learning about the importance of the layers that make up our planet. This will be an innovative lesson combining our new terrarium and the knowledge of the planet. We will combine our knowledge of the Dekalb County curriculum with the terrarium. My students need to have this experience to better understand how knowing about Earth and it's systems relate with their everyday lives as individuals.
