My students are innovative, brave, and risk taking learners! I am proud of my kiddos each and every day. They take ownership of their learning, are leaders, and are kind to each other. My students know have a growth mindset when it comes to learning! My classroom has a sports theme! As a competitive athlete, I feel that teamwork is an important value and understanding for a student to have not only on the field or court, but in the classroom! my classroom also meets the needs of all learners. Can you sit in a chair all day? Me neither! The class can choose to sit on a yoga ball, wobble chair, sports chair, stool, or on a pillow on the carpet. My students choose the best learning environment for them daily.
